About Me

Photography has been a passion of mine since I was young, a gift that was nurtured when my parents gave me my first film camera as a graduation present. What started as a hobby, capturing outdoor scenes and candid moments of family and friends, has grown into a lifelong pursuit of capturing the beauty and intricacy of the world around us. Over the years, my love for photography has deepened, and I’ve expanded my skills to include various styles, from landscape and portrait to macro and cinematic photography.
My lens often gravitates toward the natural world, where I find endless inspiration in the delicate details of flowers and the fascinating lives of insects. With my 600mm zoom lens, I’ve spent countless hours capturing the graceful flight of birds and the elusive wildlife that inhabits our world. I believe that each moment is fleeting and unique—a brief interplay of light, shadow, and motion that may never occur again. My goal is to preserve these moments, allowing others to experience the beauty and emotion I felt when I pressed the shutter.
What sets my work apart is my background as an artist. I bring an artist’s eye for color, composition, and detail to my photography, carefully considering what elements to include or exclude in each frame. Whether it’s the subtle shadow cast by a mountain or the soft flap of a bird’s wing, I strive to create images that not only capture a moment in time but also resonate with the viewer, making them feel as if they are right there with me.
One of my favorite places to photograph is the Watkins Glen gorge in Watkins Glen, NY. The way the light interacts with the water and rocks creates a scene that is both dynamic and ever-changing—you rarely get the same picture twice. It’s these moments of magic, where nature and light come together in perfect harmony, that I live to capture and share. As I continue to grow and refine my craft, I look forward to sharing more of these experiences and the beauty of the world through my lens.
